Mac App Store version
If you got Book My Luck from the Mac App Store, this section is what applies to you. Your purchase of the app, and the optional Sip Buddy subscription, are billed by Apple under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (apple.com/legal/…/stdeula). There are no license keys, no activation, and nothing to paste in.
Sip Buddy is an auto-renewing monthly subscription (US$0.49 per month, or the equivalent shown in the App Store for your country). Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in the App Store app under your account › Subscriptions. Refunds for App Store purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
The sections below about payment, license keys, activation and our no-refund policy apply only to the direct-download version sold on this website.
The purchase
Book My Luck is sold as a one-time purchase through your customer account at app.bookmyluck.com. Payment is handled by our secure payment partners. Your license is sent by email after payment and is always available in your account. The complete app is licensed for one computer. It includes the charms in the app today, and new charms, bug fixes and improvements arrive in ordinary app updates. Your license does not expire. Licenses sold earlier under the Lucky and Extra Lucky names remain valid on the terms they were sold under.
Gift packs are sets of separate licenses sold as one purchase: 3, 5, 10 or 20 licenses, or a custom quantity. Each license belongs to one person and activates on one computer. You can keep one and send the others by email from your account. The recipient receives the license key directly. Check the address before sending, because a key that has been sent cannot be taken back. Each license is personal and non-transferable once activated. Promotional offers, such as buy-and-get packs and wheel discounts, apply only as shown at checkout at the time of purchase and have no cash value. As with every purchase, all sales are final and we do not provide refunds, including for unused or unclaimed licenses. See No refunds.
Licence and activation
Your key is a personal licence for one machine. Every license activates on a single computer; the key is locked to that machine once it is activated. When you paste the key into Book My Luck, that activation is locked to that machine for good: the app records a fingerprint of the machine and the server issues a signed activation that only works there. A key cannot be used on more machines than its plan allows, an activation cannot be copied or moved to another computer, and there is no self-serve way to release a seat. If a machine is replaced, lost or stolen, write to hello@bookmyluck.com from the address you bought with and we will release that seat by hand, at our discretion. Keys that are shared publicly or activated on more machines than allowed may be revoked. Refunded or disputed orders are revoked automatically.
No refunds
We do not provide refunds. All sales are final. There is no refund policy, no money-back period and no trial refund. This applies to every purchase made on this website or in your customer account: a single license, a gift pack of any size, a custom quantity, and any add-on. It applies whether or not a license has been activated, claimed, gifted or used, and whether or not a gift has been accepted.
A purchase cannot be cancelled, reversed or exchanged once payment is complete, because your license is issued and usable immediately. Discounts, wheel offers and buy-and-get packs do not change this. Unused or unclaimed licenses in a pack are not refundable.
Please decide before you pay: try the charm on the website first, and check that your Mac runs macOS 14 or later or that your PC runs Windows 10 or 11. The app does not run on phones or tablets.
If you were charged twice for the same order, or paid and did not receive a license, write to hello@bookmyluck.com from your purchase email with your receipt reference and we will put it right. That is a correction of a billing error, not a refund of a purchase. Opening a card dispute for a valid purchase will result in the related licenses being turned off.
Nothing in this section limits any right you have under the consumer law of your country that cannot be waived. Purchases made in the Mac App Store are billed by Apple, and Apple alone decides refunds for them.
What you may do
Install it on the number of machines your licence allows and use it for anything lawful.
What you may not do
Share or resell license keys, remove the signature from the app, or redistribute the charm art outside the app.

The app is provided as is. We work hard to keep it stable and will fix what breaks, but we are not liable for indirect losses.
