The short version
BookMyLuck runs on your computer and keeps its data there. There are no accounts. We do not collect analytics. We do not sell, share or upload anything about how you use the app.
What the app stores, and where
- Your charm choice, position, hotkeys and settings.
- Your bookings and your luck streak log.
- Your license key, so the app can check it offline.
All of this lives in a small local file in your user folder. You can export it or delete it from Settings.
Calendar access
Optional and read-only. If you grant it, the app reads event titles and start times on your machine to offer blessings before events. Nothing from your calendar is transmitted anywhere.
What our servers ever see
- Website waitlist: the email you type, which platforms you ticked, and when. Stored in our database, used for one launch email. Reply “remove” and it is deleted.
- License activation: your license key and a random per-machine identifier, so we can count seats. No hardware serials, no names.
- Updates: a request for the current version and charm-pack list, with no identifiers attached.
Crash reports
Off by default. If you switch them on they contain the stack trace and app version only.
Payments
Handled by our payment provider. We receive your email and the order id so we can send your key. We never see card details.
